Jen, mom

My name is Jen and I'm from Worcester, MA. I would  like to share a little input on my experience with Miss Rachael. In 2014, my son was flagged for possible autism and sensory/delay issues. Early intervention came in to my home and my husband and I were horrified not only with the diagnosis, but the assigned staff was atrocious. Then like an angel from above, the staffing were fired and in walked Miss Rachael, a replacement. Rachael showed up at my door and immediately clicked with my son and myself.  She was professional but sweet; she had a gift like no other. We have had multiple people in our home that were there for the paycheck. Not this woman, she was straight forward and developed a relationship which helped my son in developing many skills well beyond speech. She was simply amazing and gifted in her approach and techniques. My son had a complete turn around and she was a major part of our success. We will be forever grateful for all her help!!!

Mary, spouse

In May 2015 my husband, Bill, had a stroke.  Initially he couldn’t speak and was unable to move his right side.  We met Rachael when Bill went to Whittier Rehabilitation Hospital.  Rachael was the speech therapist who worked with Bill while he was in the hospital and continued to work with him as an outpatient.

Bill was not the easiest patient but Rachael was wonderful with him.  She helped him work to overcome the aphasia that was a result of the stroke.  She was always looking for new ways and resources to help Bill.    Rachael went above and beyond what was required.

Ten months after Bill’s stroke he went back to work part-time.  He went back to work full time March 2017.  Bill’s successful return to his job was due in large part to Rachael’s work with him.  I am grateful to Rachael for all that she did for Bill.  Rachael is a caring and committed individual and the results speak for themselves!
